What Google may remove directly
Google will consider removing your contact details (phone, email, home address), intimate images shared without consent, some financial and identity information, content that breaks its policies, and, in the UK and EU, some results under privacy law. It reviews each request and can say no.
What only the website can change
Everything else on the page. If an article is out of date or wrong, the publisher is the one who can update it, remove your name, add a “noindex” tag or take it down.
Ask in the right order
Ask the website first. Once the page changes, use Google’s Refresh Outdated Content tool so the search result updates. Asking Google first, while the page is unchanged, is usually turned down.

Write down the answer. Then consider the complaint routes for your country, and make sure accurate, current information about you is easy to find.
