Start with the search result page, not guesses
The first step is to see what Google actually shows for your full name, business name, old names, common misspellings, locations, and words like review or complaint. Look at what a stranger would see, not just your exact name on its own.
Separate removable problems from reputation gaps
Some results can be corrected, updated or reported through the site, Google or a privacy form. Others can’t realistically be removed. Separate those early so you don’t spend months chasing takedowns that won’t happen.
Make sure accurate information about you is easy to find
A current work profile, an up-to-date business listing or a short, true bio gives people something accurate to find. Keep it modest and true. Fake reviews and made-up pages break platform rules and can make things worse.
Keep a simple record
Write down the searches you check, what shows up and the date. Check again every month or two, and after any page changes. If you have your own website, Google’s free Search Console tool can show whether Google has found your pages.

Do Australian reputation cases only affect Australia?
No. Australians are often searched by people overseas: clients, employers, investors and journalists. You may live in Australia, but the people searching your name could be anywhere.
Can anyone guarantee page one?
No. Google makes its own decisions, and anyone who promises a ranking is guessing. What you can do is ask for wrong or outdated pages to be fixed, and keep accurate information about you up to date.
