The short version
Ask the site that copied the record to remove or anonymise it. The court decides its own records. A site that copied a record decides its copy. Google decides what shows in search. Start by saving the link and a dated screenshot, then get a free plan for your situation.

Start with what people actually see
Search your name the way a stranger would: full name, old names, business name, suburb, and words like “review” or “complaint”. Check images and news too. Save the link and a dated screenshot of anything that worries you.
Work out who decides
The website owner decides what’s on a page. A platform decides about accounts, posts and reviews under its own rules. Google decides what shows in search, and mostly follows what’s on the page. Ask the one who decides.
Ask for one specific thing
An update, a correction, removing your name, a “noindex” tag, or taking the page down. A short, polite request with evidence gets further than a general complaint. The free check gives you a letter you can edit.
Keep a simple record
Write down what you sent, to whom and when. If there’s no reply in two weeks, follow up once. Search your name again after any change, because Google can take a while to catch up.
Know the limits
Publishers, platforms and search engines make their own decisions, and no one can promise a removal or a ranking. If something stays up, make sure accurate, current information about you, like a work profile or business page, is easy to find.
Questions
Can this result be removed from Google?
Sometimes. It depends on who published it, whether it’s accurate and current, the platform’s rules and the law where you live. The free check shows which routes fit your situation.
What if it can’t be removed?
Write down the answer, check the complaint routes for your country, and make sure accurate, current information about you is easy to find.
Is this private?
Yes. The free check runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to us. Anything you send, you send yourself.
